Privacy Policy
Chevline respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use Chevline, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.
1. Information Chevline collects
The current pre-release version of Chevline is designed to minimize the collection of personal information. Chevline does not currently require you to create an account or provide your name, address, phone number, or other directly identifying information in order to play.
Depending on how the app is distributed and tested, limited technical information may be available through Apple, TestFlight, the operating system, or other services used to distribute and diagnose the app. This may include information such as app version, device type, operating-system version, crash information, performance information, and testing feedback you choose to submit.
2. Gameplay and local app data
Chevline may store gameplay information locally on your device, such as level progress, completion status, settings, scores, or timing information. Unless a future version of the app introduces cloud synchronization or online features, this information remains on your device except where it is included in diagnostic or feedback information that you choose to send.
3. Information you choose to provide
If you contact us for support, participate in testing, or send feedback, we may receive the information you choose to provide, including your email address, message contents, screenshots, bug reports, or other information included in your communication.
4. How information is used
Information available to us may be used to:
- operate, test, maintain, and improve Chevline;
- diagnose crashes, bugs, or performance problems;
- understand whether game mechanics, levels, tutorials, and other features work as intended;
- respond to support requests and tester feedback; and
- protect the app and its users from fraud, abuse, or security threats.
5. Third-party services
Pre-release versions distributed through Apple TestFlight are subject to Apple’s own privacy practices and terms. Apple may independently collect information related to TestFlight, device diagnostics, crash reports, and beta testing.
If Chevline later adds analytics, cloud storage, authentication, leaderboards, social features, advertising, or other third-party services, this Privacy Policy will be updated to identify those services and explain the related data practices before those features are made broadly available.
6. Selling or sharing personal information
Chevline does not sell personal information. The current pre-release version does not use personal information for cross-app advertising or behavioral advertising.
7. Data retention
Information you send directly to us, such as support messages or testing feedback, may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, improve the app, maintain appropriate business records, or comply with legal obligations.
8. Children’s privacy
Chevline is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If we learn that personal information from a child has been collected in a manner that requires parental consent and appropriate consent was not obtained, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information in our possession. No electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Your choices and requests
You may contact us if you have questions about this policy or wish to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that you believe we maintain about you. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
11. Changes to this policy
Chevline is under active development. We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will identify the most recent revision.
